Rihanna rocks the new "cut-out" trend

Rihanna wore this creation to the American Music Awards this week. This dress takes lace detail into a whole new dimension, cutting flower shapes into satin fabrics.

This new cut-out trend was seen on s/s 10 catwalks, with Marc Jacob's featuring it on jackets and trousers.

This is not one of my favourite trends for spring but I do see some potential, hopefully the high street will some up with something a little more wearable.

The trend also saw a lot of exposed tums, a look Kristen Bell worked extremly well (at the same event). There was just enough mid-driff on show, enough so we could see it was there, but not enough to make her look like a wanna be belly-dancer.

Rihanna does Glamour

Rihanna wore this strange but strangly beautiful creation for the Glamour Woman of the Year awards.

This dress really reminds me of when I used to make paper fans at primary school, and now someone has decided to stick them all over a dress in fabric form. Its so wrong but it looks kind of right. Plus I have recently decided that Rihanna can pull off anything.

A little bit about moi

I follow fashion with a "uh thats pretty/ cool/ bit weird" kind of approach. I write about what catches my eye, grabs my attention and gives me something I want to shout about, good or bad.
